About Our Speaker:

Desireé Moore Dent is the founder of Dejanae Events LLC, an award-winning wedding and event planning company with 25 years of experience. She and her talented DE Team have produced hundreds of stylish, detail-focused weddings and events tailored to fit each client’s budget.

Desireé began her professional journey managing corporate events before transitioning into the wedding industry. She earned certifications in Bridal Consulting & Event Planning from both the Professional Career Development Institute and Lovegevity Wedding Planning Institute. She is a certified Professional Wedding Planner with the Association of Bridal Consultants and previously served as the organization’s Illinois State Manager.

In addition to her planning expertise, Desireé is a Wedding Officiate and Celebrant with Marry Me Ceremonies, where she designs and delivers personalized ceremonies for weddings, recommitments, and vow renewals.

Desireé is also an instructor for the Wedding and Event Planning Certification course through Lovegevity’s Wedding Planning Institute and is recognized in the program’s official textbook. She’s a frequent speaker at industry conferences, author of WEDology Notebook: For The Budget-Chic Bride, creator of the WEDology toolKIT, and a Wedding Pro Educator for The Knot WeddingWire Worldwide.
