V IRTUAL WEBINAR

This webinar is designed to empower event planners and AV companies with the knowledge to navigate the complexities of AV services, from budgeting to negotiating, ensuring successful and cost-effective events.

Event planners often face challenges when negotiating hotel contracts for audio visual (AV) services. A common issue is the complex language of AV terms, which can be confusing and lead to misunderstandings. This webinar will provide clarity on the essentials of AV services, ensuring planners are well-informed and not overcharged. We’ll cover the basics every planner should know, from understanding technical jargon to identifying necessary equipment and services for their events.

For AV companies, the webinar will delve into strategies for negotiating contracts with hotels that already have in-house AV services. We’ll discuss how to avoid extra fees and create partnerships that benefit both the outside AV company and the hotel, fostering a competitive yet cooperative environment.

Win-Win Solutions: The focus will be on crafting a win-win scenario for all parties involved: the event planner, the outside AV company, the in-house AV company, the hotel, and ultimately, the client. By aligning the interests of each stakeholder, we can ensure a seamless event experience that delivers value and satisfaction to the client.

L earning Objectives:

  • Understand AV Terminology: Gain a basic understanding of AV language to communicate effectively with service providers and negotiate better terms.
  • Identify Essential AV Services: Learn to discern the necessary AV services required for an event without incurring unnecessary costs.
