NADIA S. ANDERSON, CPA, CGMA, CWEP is a curious perpetual problem solver, educator, and creator. A proud graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and multi-talented entrepreneur, Nadia shares her accounting and management expertise with small business owners through The Anderson Accounting & Advising Group. She combines creativity with business experience to delight and inspire clients and guests of Virginia Grace, an event management company focused on luxury weddings. Her first commercial property, Lavender Hill, is now available for coworking memberships and intimate event rentals. In 2021, Nadia founded By Black Richmond, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to close the racial wealth gap by cultivating Black Excellence in her hometown of Richmond, Virginia. She was a founding board member of the National Society of Black Wedding and Event Professionals (NSBWEP), a regular educational contributor to The Knot + Wedding Wire, and a national speaker.

As a small business owner Nadia appreciates the inseparable link between the business and the owner. She knows firsthand the freedom and the uncertainty that are the hallmarks of entrepreneurship. Therefore, she listens to understand the business owner’s WHY; The WHY informs the HOW and the WHAT. She believes that your workflow is the foundation for your accounting processes and systems. A natural storyteller, Nadia listens to understand your business and interprets the numbers to tell a full story. She is interested in getting to know her clients and forming mutually beneficial long-term relationships.

Nadia protects peace, promotes the value of rest and play in the rhythm of productivity, and chases joy!  She’s a bookworm and a live music lover. When she’s not working, Nadia is creating memories across the globe, having visited 24 countries on three continents and 35 of the United States.
