LUCRETIA WILLIAMS is the President and CEO of Distinct Event Planning, LLC (DEP) – a premier event management & design firm. With over 26 years of event planning experience, Lucretia is an adaptable, “take-charge” event planner with a talent for special-event management and outstanding customer service.
Trusted as the “go-to” event specialist; she has mastered the art of planning and designing corporate, nonprofit, and social events. Lucretia and her team specialize in planning culturally inclusive, large-scale corporate events where your guests can connect and collaborate, leaving them feeling valued and appreciated while amplifying their brand.
Their client roster includes Victoria’s Secret & Co., NiSource, NBA, and Hennessy to name a few.
Lucretia understands what makes an event special: a signature branded event, meticulous attention to detail, high-level organization and execution, productive communication, creative use of colors, decor, lighting, and most importantly: sensitivity to the needs and wishes of their clients.

Lucretia holds five certifications as a Minority Business Enterprise and a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise. She won the Meeting Professionals International “Planner of the Year” award in 2023 and she won the Smart Meetings “Smart Women In Meetings” award in 2024.
In 2022, Lucretia founded the EmpoWEred Women Society. Their mission is to remind every God-fearing, career-focused woman that she is destined to live a life of abundance. By providing a platform for faith-driven women to come together and have honest conversations about life, health, and business while learning to build impactful relationships. Through their online community, workshops, and events, they create an atmosphere of empoWErment and success; together.
