WESTIN GEORGETOWN AND THE DUKE ELLINGTON SCHOOL OF THE ARTS
(This inclusive event is open to Members, Non-Members, and Allies)
(This inclusive event is open to Members, Non-Members, and Allies)
We invite you to join NSBWEP along with noteworthy event experts, industry friends, and allies at Connect2022, an unconventional learning and networking experience giving you unprecedented access to change-makers, trailblazers, and educators who will walk with you hand-in-hand to resolve your biggest challenges. You will be able to immediately apply the concepts to your life and business as soon as you return to work and turn on your computer. Connect2022 erases confusion, information juggling, and missed opportunities.
We will kick off Day One with a heart-moving gospel brunch and immersive guided experiences that will help you get grounded emotionally, physically, and financially. All this and more as you indulge in a mouthwatering brunch that will leave you humming as you take in this magnificent experience. This inspirational day will be filled abundance overload to get you prepared for Day Two! We are leaving the evening free for you to network with your industry peers over dinner and enjoy the DC city lifestyle.
Day Two continues with enriching you with essential andragogies to enhance your business performance. You will hear from our inspiring keynote speaker before leaning into the education portion of the symposium.
We have created a unique format where top industry practitioners will deliver presentations filled with tangible takeaways. Afterward, you will participate in group office hours where you can have your burning questions answered. Still have lingering issues? Our speakers will be available for 10-minute one-on-one extended office hours where they can dive into your business with you. The personalized time is the business coaching you’ve needed but have been unsure how to get.
At lunch we are creating a day-party experience like no other!
The entire extravaganza wraps up with a black-tie gala that would pique the interest of the folx at the Met. We will acknowledge and celebrate our Members by recognizing individuals who have been trailblazers in the industry and proudly representing NSBWEP. And we haven’t even mentioned the networking opportunities, surprise and delight moments, gifting, and dining experiences that will leave you in awe.
Our community has been through wedding booms, busts, and burnout. To help us navigate the roller coaster of feelings, finances, and Force Majeure, we’ve attended all the conferences, watched webinars until our blue light filter glasses gave out, and listened to so many podcasts that they all started running together. The problem is that many of us are still exhausted and overwhelmed. Instead of being #goals, we find ourselves frantically piecing together the jigsaw puzzle of our business with one hand, packing our kids’ school lunches with the other, and somehow still finding time to create event magic. No matter how fine-tuned our balancing act, we feel isolated and full of questions. If we’re honest, we are one drama-filled client email away from crying in the pantry.
At the National Society of Black Wedding & Event Professionals, we understand your struggle and know that we can come become stronger by coming together.
If you are ready to reunite with yourself, your community, and your driving passion, purchase your ticket to Connect2022 and join us in Washington, D.C. October 6-7, 2022.
You will walk-away from CONNECT 2022 with an abundance of growth as you embrace our full experience:
