This year NSBWEP is thinking of others and is giving back to local communities in need.  Your support in this give back initiative is key!

Our goal for 2023 is to give back to those in need as we head into the winter season. We want to make sure families in need have warm winter items and essentials for everyday life. We are looking to donate 50 “care packages” in each of the identified locations – Washington, DC, Atlanta, New York City to the following charities:
Our Give Back Date is November 20, 2023. All care packages should be received no later than November 15, 2023 at the designated ship-to locations.
NSBWEP Events Committee & Board Members will simultaneously deliver all donations in each area on November 20, 2023.
Don’t have time to shop for the items below, don’t worry we can shop for you if you make a donation!  Click on the link above!

ALL persons donating your name and business name will be acknowledged in the care package to the charity and in a newsletter released to the industry!

Care Package Items:

  • Winter Toboggan/Hat
  • Gloves
  • Scarfs
  • Hand and Feet Warmers
  • Travel size toothpaste
  • Toothbrush
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Mouthwash
  • Lotion
  • Feminine Products –  maxi pads, tampons and liners.
We recommend shopping at a Dollar Store, Dollar General, etc. to purchase items so that this can be affordable for you.  If shopping at one of these stores, your care package should not exceed $25 if you include all of the items!
 
You can send more than one care package.  We are requesting a complete care package of all of the above items.
 
We are asking ALL Members to participate even if the location is not in your area!

  • Please send items prepared to ship-to locations listed below.  Note you are shipping your package to NSBWEP Member locations and not the actual charity!
  • Items should be in a sealed ziplock bag or clear bag.
